Tattoos and Piercings!

There is nothing wrong with getting a tattoo of something of rememberance. I don't have a problem with tattoos, til all of someones skin is tattooed..its gross, and its harder to get a job when all the employers see is tattoos.

I would get a tattoo but I am afraid of the pain. I dont handle pain very well..I have always wanted stars down my side, if I ever got skinny enough. I wanted a chinese symbol right on my ribs, but that would hurt real bad. There are so many things I would tattoo on myself, it would be crazy. Because I am going to be a nurse, if I ever got a tattoo I would have to be able to cover it up at work.

I have my belly button and ears pierced. I dont see anything wrong with piercings unless they affect your life. Dont get them all over just so you look "cool". A couple piercings here and there are good, but people should go get them professionally because I had a friend who gave her self a piercing and it didnt turn out good at all!

Next time you want a tattoo or piercing, let the professionals do it, and make sure you think it over before you get it done! You don't want to get something, and then regret having it..because it costs a lot of money to remove the tattoo..

Are families really perfect?

I don't believe there is such thing as a "perfect" family. Even if we don't want to believe it, there is a lot of problems with families. Functional families don't exsist, I dont think they ever did.
There is always sometime of problems with families that make them dysfunctional. Lets think about it. No matter what you do, do you always please your family? Have you ever got into an arguement with a family member, or even got mad at a family member? Im pretty sure that at some point in your life, your family hasn't agreed with all of your decisions. It's just a fact of life. Just because you think something is a good decision, doesn't mean that in your families eyes it's a good decision. I'm also pretty sure that if you are a "normal" family, you have argued or got mad at them at least once. No one can help it, but everyone has their own opinions, which makes most, if not all families, dysfunctional.

Plans for the holidays.

So as I spent the weekend with Matt, he mentioned he wanted me to go with him up north for the week of Thanksgiving with his family. They would be celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas at once. I would miss school also. At first, I was pretty excited, getting to officially meet the rest of the family could be a benefit. If they like me, that will be better for us, because no one wants to date someone if their family doesn't like them; it makes it difficult. We have been dating now for almost a year, but it has felt like forever(in a good way), and I want to continue working on forever. I think this means we are getting pretty serious if he is willing to let me go with him for the week to visit his family.
I'm not sure how my parents are going to take this because I am always at our family holiday gatherings..so, I just wanted to know what you thought.
Should I go with him?
If I go, am I suppose to bring Christmas presents? I have never done this before and I am a little clueless.
Is it worth skipping school, and having a chance of falling behind since I know I wont have a computer or anything up there to do homework...
Ahhhh! I dont know what to do. I want to go up there, but my main focus is school.
I hope my parents dont mind, since they do like him, because it will bug me if they dont want me to go, but I go anyways...
